Official Open Day
President Michael D. Higgins will be attending the school’s official open day! The open day takes place on Monday, 27th February. More information to follow.
Poetry Competition
Ms. McMahon is holding a poetry competition. The theme is our new school.
Please give your entries to your teacher as soon as possible to be in with a chance to win!
Dance Club
Dance Club starts up again on Tuesday 24th January. 5th class children will have their chance to learn some new moves, get fit and have fun.
3rd class were the first to experience Dance Club with Ms. Flanagan and Ms. Kelly. They really enjoyed the club. The club runs for 3 week sessions. Remember to bring a bottle of water-you’ll need it!
Art Club
Art Club took off to a great start in December for 1st class children with Ms. Forde and Ms. Kelly. They created Christmas and winter art, as well as some Outer Space pieces of art.
Sixth class begin their 3 week session on February 1st. Ms. Mohan and Ms. Flanagan will be bringing out their creative sides on Wednesdays. We look forward to seeing their masterpieces!
2nd class children receiving their First Holy Communion this year received the sacrament of First Penance(First Confession), on Thursday 26th January. We hope the day was very special for them.
