Army No. 1 Band
The Army No 1 Band is coming to our school!
Under the baton of Captain Whitston, they will perform in our school on Wednesday, 23rd November.
We are very excited to see their performance in our gym.

The school is closed on Friday, 18th November 2011 in a mark of respect to the passing of a loved member of the school community. All staff will be attending the funeral service.

Official Opening Day
The official opening day of Scoil Naomh Eoin has been postponed until after Christmas.

Sky is the Limit
This exciting event took place on the 26th of October 2011. A Sky is the Limit flag was unveiled before the main event. The children prepared by making colourful artwork. There was a gathering in the hall to view a live video of the plane taking off and then the children went outside to meet the plane on its arrival at the school. The plane towed the banner “Sky is the Limit” reminding us that anything is possible, you can make your dreams come true if you work hard. Photos will be installed around the school after the event.
Skip Hop
Our annual SkipHop day took place on November 7th 2011. First class to Sixth class were taught skipping skills, varying in difficulty depending on their class level. Everyone really enjoyed it. Some parents and younger children watched the skills display at the end of the day. Many children have started to bring their skipping ropes to school to play with during yard. What a great way to keep fit! We can’t wait ’til next year!
