New School and New Staff
We welcome our new secretary Fionnuala Sheridan who joins Joan in the office. We also welcome three new teachers – Ms. Flanagan, Mr. Loughlin and Ms. Kenny. We hope they all enjoy working at Scoil Naomh Eoin. Click on About Us to read more about our new school and this year’s staff.
New Reading Scheme
Children in Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st class are using a new reading scheme this year. The children will read collections of staged readers at their own reading ability level. These new books have been covered and labelled. Please take care of them as a 5euro fine will be charged for missing or damaged readers. We expect that the children’s reading will progress quickly with such a variety of interesting reading material. If you have not paid the 15euro for these books please do so as soon as possible. Thank you to all of you who have paid already.
English Classes
English classes for parents start Tuesday 27th September for 12 weeks. The course costs 20euro. Places are limited. Text Sarah Clarke on 087 9099703 for details.
Clothing Collection
A clothing collection will take place at the school on Tuesday, 4th October, in aid of Scoil Naomh Eoin.
